First Stop: Bangkok
Our hostel for the first two days of our trip was Bed Station Khoasan Road. Getting dropped off at the hostel at 7 am sounded like a great way to have a full day in the city but we ended up not being able to check in until 2.
Luckily the hostel had a luggage room so we could stash our backpacks until check in. The staff was super nice and friendly. The main building had showers and a cool room with bean bags that we could chill out in and nap and we could use the pool. So of course that was the first thing we did. I had Thai chicken and rice soup for breakfast sitting by the pool and it still didn’t feel like I was actually in Thailand.
We relaxed for most of the day and napped in any place we could lay down in. Myself and the three girls were in a girls dorm on the second floor. Every bunk had a curtain around it, with outlets and usb slots along with a little locker at built in. The lockers in the room were big enough for both of my backpacks.
That night we walked down to Khoasan Road to check out the market (the hostel is two blocks away). We ate at The One Street Bar and how could I pass up the chance to have Pad Thai on my first night in Bangkok.
