Phi Phi Islands
The ferry ticket is 350 baht and included transfer from the hotel.
When you get to the port in Phi Phi every person pays 20baht—this is mean to go towards garbage disposal and recycling in the island.
There aren’t any cars in this area but there was a man waiting to help us with our bags from the resort. Quick 5 minute walk through the town to our hotel at Coco Bella Resort. The front desk girls are more or less unpleasant but after sorting out our payments we were brought to our bungalows. There is a nice pool at the resort and a small restaurant. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant on the first day and had their buffet breakfasts.
The weather wasn’t great the days we were in Phi Phi but I tried to get to the beach in the mornings before the weather changed.
There are a ton of restaurants and bars in the Phi Phi Don area and plenty of market stalls to look around.
I couldn’t go to Thailand and not get a traditional tattoo. We went to Skull tattoo and looked at the designs in the books they had displayed. I got a three line Sak Yant tattoo done with bamboo. It cost 2000baht and didn’t hurt nearly as much as a tattoo machine does and was finished in 20 minut
There is a great viewpoint in Phi Phi Don. We walke up for the sunset (it’s a pretty steep set of stairs). It costs 30 baht to enter- there’s the first viewpoint that has signs and statues for Instagram pictures. The second viewpoint is another 5 minute walk up to a big platform.
